Queer Records is a small, independent record store specialising in music by LGBTQIA+ artists. Proudly queer-owned, we aim to celebrate our fabulous back catalogue and all those who have contributed to it!

Our story

We began life as a market stall in March 2023. Since then, we’ve bought our pop-up record store to many locations (including the Victorian Pride Centre, ACMI and Ace Hotel Sydney) and even hosted a B.Y.O. Vinyl Night. Stay up-to-date by checking out our Visit us page or following our Insta! 

Our ethos  

We created Queer Records as a space for celebration. Our goal is to showcase music from LGBTQIA+ identifying artists, plus a curated selection of notable allies, icons and advocates. We're always on the lookout for new queer artists to stock – if you have any recommendations, please hit us up. 🤙
