Sofi Tukker swap club heat for coastal breeze on Butter, soaking in the familiar winds of Brazil and rooted in the sounds that shaped their breakout track 'Brazilian Soul' with The Knocks. Butter opens out their palette to bossa nova, samba, MPB, bolero and samba-reggae, all played live with a cast of Brazilian musicians. It's a low-slung, sun-glazed flip of their 2024 album Bread, reworking tracks like 'Throw Some Ass', 'Hey Homie' and 'Spiral' with acoustic instrumentation and a more languid sway.
