Melbourne-born, Sydney-based indie icon total tommy today announces her anticipated sophomore album Trapezoid - set for release on October 23rd via Play It Again Sam. She also shares the sharp, diaristic title-track, a song about embracing imperfection and finding strength in the small things.

Trapezoid is an album dripping with references, amid a web of nostalgia, and as her recent single ‘Winona Forever’ conveys - Winona Ryder adoration. Alongside previous cut ‘Pretty Little Mouth’ which flipped the ‘butter wouldn’t melt’ cliché into a cutting take on love bombing - total tommy has received an avalanche of acclaim. With coverage at NME, DIY, Wonderland, The Times, Clash, DIY, Dork, Notion, The Line Of Best Fit, a worldwide premiere on triple j Home and Hosed, rotation on triple j Unearthed, RTR, and Radio 1 (NZ), and continuous support at BBC 6Music and BBC Radio 1 - she charges towards her sophomore album with incredible momentum. 

Fans of total tommy’s 2024 album Bruises will recognise a maturation in her artistry - moving from the uncertainty of bruises into the intelligence and impact of Trapezoid, Jess Holt is showing her many sided personal and artistic silhouette.
